The Director Project Management (m/f/diverse) leads the PM activities. He/she demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role he/she will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and the bidding process, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

- Ensure that customer and partner relationships are proactively managed in line with the contract requirements & expectations
- Secure execution of the projects in line with the customer contract requirements and also achieving / exceeding financial, quality and schedule targets.
- Ensure all team members are trained and compliant on the processes, tools and methods.
- Develop an entrepreunral culture in the PM community to drive accountability as well growth of financial KPIs
- Drive organizational and functional effectiveness in order to achieve business goals and develop employees.
- Provide full scope of leadership for a team, including performance evaluation, annual assessment, salary planning, and employee development.
- Create a motivating environment driven by the company values which enables the attraction of new, qualified talent to the organization.
- Be the primary customer contact and manage all aspects of the project execution from resolution of specification, scope and commercial/ contractual issues, manage correspondence, provide transparent reporting, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate.
- Responsible for the financial performance of a portfolio of projects.
- Responsible for on-time delivery in accordance with contract.
- Responsible for project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout.
- Lead project team, including partners, through contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate.
