Ihre Aufgaben

Da die nationalen und internationalen Projekte weiter wachsen, sucht CE Germany eine:n Senior Power Systems Expert, der:die die technische Integration erneuerbarer Energien ins Stromnetz verantwortet. Du entwickelst zukunftssichere Energiesysteme, die Netzstabilität gewährleisten, regulatorische Vorgaben erfüllen und reibungslos mit den Ausgleichsmärkten interagieren.
Besonders in Deutschland nutzt CE Germany aktuelle regulatorische Entwicklungen gezielt, um die Integration von erneuerbaren Energien und Batteriespeichern zu beschleunigen. Themen wie Cable-Pooling und flexible Netzanschlussverträge sind dabei Schlüssel, um Netzkapazitäten effizient zu nutzen und Projekte erfolgreich ans Netz zu bringen. Netzintegration & Netzanschlussanträge: Übernimm die elektrische Integration von Wind-, Solar- und BESS-Anlagen ins Netz und in die Energiemärkte – von den ersten Projektphasen bis zur Inbetriebnahme. Verantworte die Antragsverfahren für den Netzanschluss.
Koordination mit VNBs/ÜNBs und OEMs: Führe technische und regulatorische Gespräche mit Übertragungsnetzbetreibern, Verteilnetzbetreibern, OEMs und externen Ingenieurbüros, um die Einhaltung der Netzanschlussregeln und die technische Machbarkeit sicherzustellen.
Elektrotechnische Systemauslegung: Verantworte die Planung von Transformatoren, Hoch-/Mittelspannungsschaltanlagen, Netzanbindungslösungen sowie die Programmierung von Power Plant Controllern. Arbeite eng mit dem Engineering-Team zusammen, um das Anlagendesign zu optimieren.
Technische Beschaffung: Unterstütze das Engineering-Team bei der Bewertung, Auswahl und Beschaffung elektrischer Komponenten. Führe technische Prüfungen durch, unter anderem zu Stromumwandlungssystemen, Steuerungssystemen, Balance-of-Plant-Designs und Batteriesystemen verschiedener Anbieter.
Inbetriebnahme und Testläufe: Koordiniere die Inbetriebnahme und Systemtests, um eine sichere, zuverlässige und regelkonforme Betriebsbereitschaft sicherzustellen.
Neue Chancen: Unterstütze das Entwicklungsteam bei der Identifikation und Bewertung neuer Projektmöglichkeiten aus Netzanschlusssicht und untersuche Anforderungen an Netzmodellierung und Anschlussverfahren in neuen internationalen Märkten, insbesondere in Europa.
Am Puls der Zeit: Bleibe über Branchenentwicklungen informiert und suche kontinuierlich nach innovativen Lösungen zur Optimierung des Anschlussprozesses.

Ihr Profil

Ausbildung: Masterabschluss in Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik, Leistungselektronik, Energietechnik oder einem verwandten Bereich.
Erfahrung: Mindestens 5 Jahre nachgewiesene Berufserfahrung im Bereich Energienetze, Netzintegration und elektrische Energietechnik. Praxiserfahrung mit großen Energiespeichersystemen oder Anlagen der erneuerbaren Energien ist erforderlich.
Technische Fähigkeiten: Kenntnisse in Simulationswerkzeugen wie PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, Python, VBA etc.
Projektverantwortung: Fähigkeit, komplexe Projekte eigenständig zu steuern, technische Herausforderungen zu lösen und eine hohe Systemqualität sicherzustellen.
Agilität & Entscheidungsfreude: Freude an der Arbeit in einem kleinen, dynamischen Team mit der Fähigkeit, schnelle Entscheidungen zu treffen. Proaktive Denkweise mit Lernbereitschaft und Anpassungsfähigkeit.
Standort: Dein Arbeitsplatz befindet sich in unserem Berliner Büro.
Reisebereitschaft: Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen (<20%).
Sprachen: Fließendes Deutsch und Englisch sind Voraussetzung.

Your mission

As national and international projects continue to grow, CE Germany is looking for a Senior Power Systems Expert to take responsibility for the technical integration of renewable energies into the power grid. You will develop future-proof energy systems that ensure grid stability, comply with regulatory requirements and interact smoothly with balancing markets.

In Germany in particular, CE Germany strategically leverages current regulatory developments to accelerate the integration of renewable energy and battery storage systems. Topics such as cable pooling and flexible grid connection agreements are key to efficiently using grid capacity and successfully connecting projects to the grid. If you’re excited to help shape this dynamic environment, you’ll fit right in.

Grid integration & connection applications: Take charge of integrating wind, solar and BESS installations into the power grid and energy markets – from early project phases to commissioning. You will also be responsible for managing the grid connection application process.
Coordination with TSOs/DSOs and OEMs: Conduct technical and regulatory discussions with transmission and distribution system operators, OEMs and external engineering firms to ensure compliance with grid connection standards and technical feasibility.
Electrical system design: Take responsibility for planning transformers, high and medium-voltage switchgear, grid connection solutions and the programming of power plant controllers. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to optimize system design.
Technical procurement: Support the engineering team in evaluating, selecting and procuring electrical components. Conduct technical reviews including power conversion systems, control systems, balance-of-plant designs and battery systems from various providers.
Commissioning and testing: Coordinate commissioning and system testing to ensure safe, reliable and compliant operational readiness.
New opportunities: Support the development team in identifying and assessing new project opportunities from a grid connection perspective and evaluate modeling and connection requirements in new international markets, especially across Europe.
Industry awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously look for innovative solutions to improve the connection process.

Your profile

Education: Master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, power electronics, energy systems or a related field
Experience: At least 5 years of proven professional experience in power grids, grid integration and electrical energy systems. Hands-on experience with large-scale energy storage systems or renewable energy plants is required
Technical skills: Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, Python, VBA etc.
Project management: Ability to independently manage complex projects, solve technical challenges and ensure high system quality
Agility & decision-making: Enthusiasm for working in a small, dynamic team with the ability to make quick decisions. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
Location: Your workplace will be based in our Berlin office
Willingness to travel: Willingness to travel occasionally (<20%)
Languages: Fluency in both German and English is required
